180 days down and a new job...bittersweet!

School's out for the summer!!!! Celebrate!!! Made 180 days with the best group of kids I have had in 4 years! They have truly been a blessing and have left a lasting impression.  This class was the class to go out with.  With that said, I will be moving back HOME and I could not be more excited!!!! Bittersweet b/c I leave behind some absolutely wonderful kids and some even more amazing co-workers and friends.  So I broke the news to my students and did not anticipate their reactions.  Broke my heart but also made me feel good in a way because their tears meant that I made a difference in their lives.  After we struggled to get through Oh the Places you Go, this is what they made on my whiteboard.  (see above)  So for the next week, I will be packing up my classroom, cleaning, packing, cleaning, repeat...Happy Last Day of School!!
